While most people who want to open a love room also see it as an opportunity to change their lives, earn additional income, and optimize a property, don't forget to study the competition.

Do your calculations

Please note that you cannot afford to fail. If customers are willing to pay the price to come to your establishment, you will have to invest in quality accommodation. Be careful, without support, the bill can quickly climb.

Provide quality bedding

Provide a minimum of 160 x 200... round bed, canopy, suspended... it must absolutely be original and comfortable at the same time.

Don't forget the administrative procedures.

To rent a gîte, you must declare it using Cerfa form n° 14004*02. You will also need to consider the tourist tax and the CFE. It will probably be very useful to follow specific training before launching your project.

 Aim for a quality label

Opening a gîte is not enough. It also needs to be profitable... To attract more customers, you can request a 1 to 5 star rating from Atout France. And why not an Ecolabel.
